What is MyWSU Login Portal
Washington State University offers its students, faculty, and employees a simple and easy to use tool, MyWSU Portal for accessing the virtual resources according to their active directory affiliation to fulfill their needs with the university.
Not only WSU students, faculty, or staff can access the portal but the guardians and friends can use the content of the site through a Friend Account and then requesting the authorization to access services like making payments on behalf of the students. This web-based single sign-on portal can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.
MyWSU Portal displays different information and grants to access different services based on the users’ roles at Washington State University. It can serve as a student or applicant portal where the users can register or cancel enrollment; view their respective class schedules, grades, course catalog; search classes; get information about upcoming events; change contacts, make payments, etc. The staff and faculty can also see their earning statements, W2, W4, employment opportunities, set up direct deposit, payroll, benefits, retirement information, and many more.
MyWSU Login:
To access the MyWSU Online Portal and check your admission status, financial aid, scholarships, register for classes, view grades, and much more by logging in to your MyWSU Account in a few simple steps as listed below.
- Visit the official MyWSU Portal at login.wsu.edu
- Fill out the username field with your WSU Network ID that you used for access to most of the campus system like wireless and local networks, or Friend ID if you are a parent or an eligible individual authorized by WSU.
- Enter the Password associated with the ID Number in the nest field.
- Check the “Remember me” box to speed your future login to the site.
- Click on the “Sign In” button.
How to Reset MyWSU Login Credentials:
To Reset your login credentials do follow the below steps.
- Go to the MyWSU Online Portal at login.wsu.edu
- Click on the “Need help signing in?” link under the ‘Sign In’ button on the Network Authentication box in the middle of the page.
- A drop-down list will be open to show the “Forgot password?” or “Unlock account?” link. Click one of the two as per your need.
- Enter the username or the primary/secondary Email Address listed on your profile setting.
- Choose your options from SMS, Email, and Voice Call to reset the password or unlock the account.
- And if you already have your WSU NID (Network ID) or FID (Friend ID) but are not able to log in to MyWSU, click the respective link and log in to activate your profile.
Note that for resetting the password or unlocking the account, you can use SMS or Voice Call only if a mobile phone number has set previously on your profile to configure. And if you do not have access to the email, you need to call the Help Desk to contact an administrator.
Some Useful Info about MyWSU Online Portal
- WSU replaced the MyWSU with the Zzusis portal as the new portal is more robust, efficient, effective, consistent, and also better organized and easier to navigate.
- Some features are default and they appear for every student, faculty, and staff. But many features can be added or removed through Layout and Content options found at the top right corner of your MyWSU Online Account
- MyWSU Portal is not campused specific though the users will see a set of campus-specific default content in their portal account based on their campus affiliation by active directory
- The central way of navigating MyWSU Portal online is Tab. Each user will have two default tabs called ‘Student’, ‘Faculty’ or ‘Staff’, and ‘My Page’. They may also have additional tabs depending on their roles at the university.
- In any individual has dual roles, like he or she is both a student and a staff member, they will have both the Student and Staff Tab to access
- The Pagelets, newspaper-style information boxes appeared on the tabs, can be used to refresh, edit, minimize, or delete.
- Students can access ASWSU election through the MyWSU Portal
- The portal can be accessed through mobile devices though all features and functionalities are currently not available on the mobile web.
